Northwood Apartments

The Northwood Apartments complex is located on Northwood Road, just off of North Eagleville Road on the western perimeter of the University of Connecticut campus. The complex consists of 94 apartment units, a laundry room, mail area, and playground.

Units have two bedrooms, single bath, living room, and kitchen. Hot water, heat, electricity, basic cable, maintenance services, trash and snow removal services are provided. Parking: you will need a University parking decal, available from Parking Services and you will be subject to all rules and regulations of Parking Services (please see http://web.uconn.edu/parking/ for more information).

Some units are designated family units and other units are apartments that house two graduate students.

Family Units:

  • Eligibility to live in Northwood Apartments is limited to full-time graduate students who are married (living with your spouse) or a single parent with a dependant minor child under his/her legal care. A minimum of half-time assistantship must be in effect during the entire term of occupancy.
  • Only the family members noted on the Lease are permitted to live in the apartment. Please be aware that having others live with you in the apartment is a violation of your Lease and can lead to termination of your rental agreement.

Currently, we are not accepting new applications for family housing in Northwood.
