Undergraduate Early Arrival Process

Individual students who need to check into their Fall 2011 assignment prior to Opening Weekend can request to check-in on Wednesday, August 24th or Thursday, August 25th, for a fee of $75 per night. Requests will be accepted Friday, July 15th - Wednesday, August 17th.

Students requesting to arrive early must read, and agree to the policies and costs associated with arriving early. Students who miss the August 17th deadline for requesting to arrive early will encounter a delay in receiving keys and will be charged an additional convenience fee of $75.

  • Students who arrive early are not permitted to have overnight guests in their rooms until the official opening of the residential areas.
  • Students who arrive early are held accountable to the On-Campus Housing Contract and the Student Code as well as all other written policies of the University.
  • Students must officially check into their residential area. Students that have not officially checked in, and are found in the residential areas, will be asked to leave, and the situation will be documented.
